Chris has been teaching drums for 30 years. He has studied with Gary Tomlin, Jim Blackley, Paul Delong and Ric Gratton. Over the last 50 years Chris has played in numerous musical settings, including radio, television, concerts and clubs, recording and church worship conferences and services. During that time he has worked with musicians such as Bernie LaBarge, Bill Dillon, Kevin Rammessar, Dave Thompson, Mike Janzen and Mark McIntyre.
“ My philosophy is simple. I teach people to play drums so that they may experience the challenges and joys of making music with other musicians.”
Chris' rate is $28.00 per half-hour lesson.

Dave Menard (Drums)

Dave Menard is a graduate of Humber College (Music Performance) and has extensive experience performing drums in theatres, cruise ships, clubs, festivals and with various bands. His performance experiences include a variety of genres ranging from Jazz to Rock/Pop, Country to Folk and everything in between. Whether you'd like to learn to read music, play by ear or both, Dave has the theoretical knowledge, giving him a truly balanced skill set. With his wealth of gigging experience over 15 years of teaching, Dave does not implement a "one size fits all" lesson but rather customizes lessons for each student based on their interests, goals, and style of learning. He is a fantastic fit for any drum student of any age, serious or otherwise, and is always quick with some supportive words, light hearted candor and laid back attitude. Locally, you can find Dave playing with multiple bands on drums as well as his acoustic duo on guitar and vocals. Dave's rate is $28.50 per half-hour lesson.

Don McDougall (Drums)

Don McDougall is a professional percussionist with over 30 years teaching experience. He has a Diploma of Music from Humber College and diverse experience in live performance, having performed all over the world - concerts, tours, clubs, and musicals. He is well regarded for his diversity and skills, his broad perspective of music, and his upbeat, creative, and positive teaching style. Don's rate is $30.00 per half-hour lesson.
